KKW Beauty Ultralight Beams Collection Review
By now I’m sure you’ve all seen the buzz around the new KKW Beauty launch, but in case you you were stuck on a deserted island, Kim Kardashian West recently released a new addition to the KKW Beauty line called the Ultralight Beams Collection. This past week I finally got my hands on the new KKW Beauty loose pigments and glosses everyone on the internet is raving about. Today on the blog, I’m revealing my thoughts by sharing a KKW Beauty Ultralight Beams Collection review.
The KKW Beauty Ultralight Beams Collection is a set of five high shine lip glosses and five matching loose powder pigments. This ten piece collection is $160 dollars and is currently sold out on their website. However, they do sell the glosses and pigments in coordinating duos for $32 dollars a piece. (Which is a great deal!) Typically a lip gloss can range from $17 to $22 dollars alone, and with these duos you’re getting each product for just $14. Both products come in five colors: Iridescent, Rose Gold, Yellow Gold, Bronze, and Copper.
High Shine Gloss
The glosses are sheer, but they can be worn alone for a light wash of color or over a lipstick as a topper. They aren’t meant to be super opaque and if you want more color payoff, you can dab some of the pigment on top of the gloss with your finger for a super metallic look. They have a very smooth glossy finish that is so flattering on the lips. It totally gives the illusion of a fuller pout! I am definitely a big fan of these glosses, especially because they aren’t sticky and are very comfortable to wear. However, the lipgloss packing isn’t my favorite. I feel like since there is no ‘click’ or indication of it being sealed it almost feels as if it’s not closed all the way. In my opinion that’s the only con of this lipgloss. These glosses are great quality and the colors are gorgeous! Rose gold is definitely my favorite, it’s seriously so pretty, I used it in my latest Two Minute Tuesdays on my channel.
The five pigments in this collection are seriously so pretty! They have great color payoff and the color selection (just like the glosses) is absolutely stunning! Although, personally I’m not a fan of the shade Iridescent. It’s too light and frosty for my skin tone, but if you are very fair it could work for you. The colors could definitely work for a variety of skin tones. Copper would look stunning on a darker complexion. Unlike the glosses, I really like the packaging of these pigments. They are definitely the easiest to work with and give the highest metallic finish with a wet brush. Using this powder with just your fingers can get a bit messy.
If you’re in the market for a product like this I would definitely give it a try. The colors are beautiful and I am very happy with the quality, especially the glosses! I hope you guys enjoyed this KKW Beauty Ultralight Beams Collection review. I’ll be the first to let you know if they restock on my Insta-stories. 😉 Have you ever tried KKW Beauty Products?
